Mike James scored 31 points, leading Olimpia Milano to a dominant 90 – 72 win over Reyer Venezia in the Final of the “Trofeo Lovari” tournament preseason tournament.
James was simply unstoppable with 8/11 2-pointers, 1/4 3-pointers, 12/14 free throws. He was also more than a scorer for Milano since he also notched five rebounds and four assists.
Vladimir Micov also stood out for the “Red Shoes” with 18 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. He was named MVP of the tournament.
For Venezia, Deron Washington dropped 14 points and Andrea De Nicolao 13.
