Fantasy: Three changes and a comeback for Calathes

By Eurohoops team/ info@eurohoops.net

The truth is that Game 1 didn’t go very well for the Eurohoops team since key players like Brandon Davies didn’t help as much as we expected (8 points).

Our overall tally, then, was 117.1 points but we’re still at the beginning of our journey and the changes that will be made can lead to something much better in the very near future.

The changes ahead of Game 2

The first and most important move concerns the replacement of Jeremy Evans with Sasha Vezenkov. The Reds’ forward was one of the best players in Olympiacos’s big win over Khimki and his price is expected to increase even more this week, even if he doesn’t put up an impressive performance.

Aside from him, Facundo Campazzo will give his place to Nate Wolters, who, from very early on, looks like he will be the focal point in Zalgiris’s backcourt. The American did everything against the Basques (27 PIR) and can have another good performance away at Efes.

Finally, Tarik Black will replace Brock Motum ahead of the big derby against CSKA Moscow, where the newcomer will have to step up so that the Israelis will not find themselves with a 0-2 record.

Nick Calathes will once again be the captain despite his mediocre contribution in the opening game.
