Dimitris Itoudis on CSKA’s rotation against Olympiacos: I’m the coach, I make decisions

Dimitris Itoudis was asked about officiating in the press conference that followed CSKA’s win over Olympiacos and didn’t bite his tongue.

“Do you agree with what I said that we deserved to go to the line more? (journalist answers: probably) Probably, what makes you say that? […] I disagree with you, they [Olympiacos] were fouling. They were getting the calls. Only two of our players went to the line, our players deserved to go to the line more”, said Itoudis.

When asked about Andrey Vorontsevich and the rotation of the game in general, the Greek coach answered the following: “Did I let my team with four players or did I had one more position for someone that would help CSKA? He’s great. I think he’s healthy now. As long as I don’t leave my team with four players, you don’t have to worry. I’m the coach, you’re the journalist, I make decisions.”
