Maccabi Tel Aviv announced the signing of NBA veteran Ramon Sessions to a 3-month deal that includes an option for the remainder of the season. The American guard will thus continue in Europe, where he’ll play for the first time in his career.

Sessions, 32, arrives in Maccabi essentially as a replacement for injured guard Jeremy Pargo who has been ruled out for two months with a back injury. Maccabi, that is currently 1-4 in EuroLeague, adding another former NBAer this season after Tarik Black and Johnny O’ Bryant.

Over 12 years in the NBA, Sessions played for the Milwaukee Bucks, Washington Wizards, Cleveland Cavaliers, Charlotte Hornets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings, New York Knicks, and the L.A. Lakers. He had been a free agent after finishing the previous season with the Wizards.
