After 11 years in the NBA, Ramon Sessions continues his career in Europe with Israeli powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv. As he said, he couldn’t think of a better opportunity of a club to make his debut outside the NBA.
“Maccabi fans: I’m Ramon Sessions. Eleven years in the NBA. First time overseas and I wouldn’t have a better chance to play with a better organization than Maccabi Tel Aviv. Thank you guys for having me here and looking forward to seeing you guys in the game,” Sessions said in a video message to Maccabi fans.
Sessions, 32, signed a three-month deal (that includes an option for the rest of 2018-2019) with Maccabi in order to replace injured guard Jeremy Pargo. With the “Yellows”, he’ll play in EuroLeague and the Israeli Winner League.
