The partnership between Euroleague and bwin was renewed, per Euroleague’s announcement on Thursday.

Euroleague Basketball and bwin, the leading online sports betting and gaming operator, are pleased to announce a new multi-year sponsorship agreement. The deal renews the partnership between bwin and Euroleague, with the pair having successfully worked together earlier in the decade. The new arrangement will run for an initial three-year period and cover Greece, Italy and Spain.

bwin is Europe’s leading online betting brand. Synonymous with sport, bwin has partnered with global icons in the worlds of football, motorsport and basketball. It has leading positions in several markets, including Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Greece and Spain. In addition to sports betting, bwin also offers a wide range of casino, poker and bingo games via mobile and PC, all with a single account.

“We are thrilled to have bwin back among our family of partners in three of our most important strategic markets,” Roser Queralto, Chief Business Development Officer of Euroleague Basketball, said. “bwin is a respected name in the sports industry and among fans. This agreement helps the EuroLeague reach an even wider fan base and gives faithful EuroLeague fans new ways to enjoy games through bwin.”

bwin will use its platform and pan-European reach to engage with basketball fans through cool activities and unique experiences. As part of the agreement, bwin will take the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Trophy on tour throughout EuroLeague arenas in Greece and Spain.

“We are thrilled to be joining forces with EuroLeague once again,” Adam Lewis, bwin’s Chief Marketing Officer, said. “At bwin our mantra is ‘live the action’ and that is exactly what this new partnership offers our customers and basketball fans. We can’t wait to get started.””.
