Jordan Theodore is a free agent

Jordan Theodore announced on Twitter that he has become a free agent. The American guard was still bound to a contract with Olimpia Milano, even though he was out of the team’s roster, but that’s no longer the case.

Theodore, 29, signed with Milano in 2017 following a breakthrough season with Banvit when he was named Basketball Champions League MVP. In the previous EuroLeague season, he averaged 11.6 points and 4.3 assists in his debut campaign the competition.

Milano head coach Simone Pianigiani didn’t include Theodore in his plans for 2018-2019 and while the guard was essentially out of the team, he remained a Milano player on paper.
