Vassilis Spanoulis picked up a calf injury during the Greek Cup semifinals game against Panathinaikos OPAP. Olympiacos walked out of the match, but the leader and captain of the reds might be sidelined for at least 15 days after going down during the first half.
In the next couple of weeks, Olympiacos has a difficult away game against Anadolu Efes on February 21st. On March 1st, the Greeks will host CSKA Moscow. It seems like David Blatt won’t be able to include Spanoulis in his plans for the two EuroLeague matches.
