Zalgiris Kaunas’ Road to EuroLeague Playoffs

Coming off its first EuroLeague Final Four appearance since marching up to the top in 1999, Zalgiris Kaunas progressed to the 2019 EuroLeague Playoffs. Sarunas Jasikevicius remained the head coach and added on his success leading the Lithuanian side to six consecutive wins in the bottom end of the 2018-19 Regular Season.

Zalgiris ended up with a 15-15 W-L record, good enough for eighth place as the middle team in a three-way tie with KIROLBET Baskonia and Olympiacos. Next up is Fenerbahce Beko in a best-of-five-series with the team that finished on top of standings riding a 25-5 W-L record having the home-court advantage.
