The most exciting playoffs race in Turkish Airlines EuroLeague history is the backdrop for the sixth episode of The Journey, a behind-the-scenes broadcast series tracking five teams in the competition from the opening tip until this season’s champion is crowned.

In this month’s episode, the Euroleague Regular Season heads for a climax as David Blatt and Olympiacos, hoping to climb back into postseason contention, face off against CSKA Moscow. Their task is helped by the arrival of a new player, Brionte Weber, but complicated by the visit from a former one, CSKA center Kyle Hines.

Aiming to complete its first-place run is Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, whose three-time champion point guard, Kostas Sloukas, is focused on getting the team’s their second title in three years.

Real Madrid captain Felipe Reyes looks back at his career ahead of breaking the all-time Euroleague appearances record.

And Bayern Munich’s longest serving player, Nihad Dedovic, talks about his team’s attempt to secure playoff basketball in its return to the Euroleague this season.

Euroleague Basketball launched The Journey this season as part of its commitment to bringing fans as close as possible to their heroes. The Journey joins The Insider EuroLeague Documentary Series, now in its fourth season, to expand Euroleague Basketball’s tradition of long-form story-telling that puts fans not only on the bench for games, but on the team bus, too.

The Journey allows Euroleague Basketball broadcast partners to give viewers world-wide an intimate look at five teams – CSKA, Fenerbahce, Bayern, Olympiacos and Madrid – whose adventures unfold over eight monthly installments in a 26-minute format until May.
