Nando De Colo: I’m a professional and I won’t say anything until the season ends

Nando De Colo has been an invaluable asset to CSKA Moscow since 2014 when he joined the squad and despite some ups and downs this season, he stepped up in the EuroLeague playoffs against Baskonia when most-needed.

The 31-year-old French guard is on the radar of other teams every summer as it will be this one but he doesn’t want to think or talk about it until his job is done for this season: “The truth is that I don’t think about it much. We already know how it works, first we have to finish the season, I am like that, I’m a professional and I won’t say anything until my season with CSKA ends. We’ll see what happens after that”, he told Radio Marca.

And the next challenge of this season will be the EuroLeague semifinals vs. Real Madrid. They clashed last season as well and De Colo believes they learned their lesson: “You always learn things and when it’s not possible to win, you have to do your best not to repeat the same mistakes, you have to prepare to play in the best way. We know that it’s a 40-minute game and that we can’t allow a single minute for Madrid to do what they want on the floor and that’s a bit of what happened last year. We relaxed and Madrid did what they know how to do very well: run, play more aggressively and this year we have to avoid that”, he explained.
