Sergio Rodriguez: CSKA hasn’t made it clear yet that they want me

Sergio Rodriguez recently spoke to RIA Novosti about next season, stating that CSKA Moscow hasn’t made it clear to him if they want to keep him in the team.

“CSKA has the option for next season. But so far the club hasn’t made it clear that they want to see me in the team next year, so I don’t know yet.  Would I remain if everything depended only on me? I cannot answer this question because I don’t know what CSKA wants. I will decide when the season will be over, when I understand what the club wants”, said Rodriguez.

The Spanish guard first joined the Army Team in 2017, when he signed a 2+1 contract.

Currently, CSKA leads 2-0 in the best-of-three final series of the VTB United League against Khimki and the third game will be held on June 10.
