Fenerbahce Beko and forward Gigi Datome are finalizing a multi-year contract extension according to Eurohoops sources.
Datome, 31, has been a player of Fenerbahce since 2015 and his return to Europe following an NBA stint with the Detroit Pistons and the Boston Celtics. In 2017, the Italian player helped the team win the first EuroLeague title in the history of the club and Turkish basketball.
During his four seasons with Fener, Datome has also won the Turkish League in 2016, 2017 and 2018, plus the Turkish Cup in 2016 and 2019. He was named Turkish championship Finals MVP in 2016 and Turkish Cup MVP in 2019.
