“We all have tracked what Johannes has accomplished in his three years with Baskonia. He is at a good age and level of experience to help our team. We talked several times already, and I see that he is determined and thrilled to play for CSKA. I know that he turned down some other options because he wanted to come and play for our team. Voigtmann is a versatile player who can cover two positions. He has size, he is a very good rebounder, but he can also spread the floor with his three-point shooting. We are happy to have Johannes with us and we are looking forward to working together,” CSKA Moscow head coach Dimitris Itoudis commented.
