Baskonia announced the addition of Nigerian center and former EuroCup champion Micheal Eric on a two-year deal. Eric will return to the Spanish ACB League where he previously played with Bilbao in 2016-2017.
Eric, 31, spent the last two seasons with Turkish side Darussafaka Tekfen. In his debut EuroLeague campaign in 2018-2019, he averaged 11.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 20:18 over 29 games.
He finished the season in the Turkish BSL League with 12.7 points, 5.9 rebounds in 22:3 minutes over 23 games.
In 2018, Eric helped Darussafaka win the EuroCup for the first time in the history of the club.
