Pablo Laso and Real Madrid have reached an agreement to sign a new contract for the next two seasons, as reported by AS.

Their new agreement cancels out Laso’s existing contract that ends June 2020 and will mark his fifth renewal with the club.

Laso arrived in Madrid in summer of 2011, so in 2021 he will reach ten consecutive seasons in Real’s bench, something that has only been achieved by Lolo Sainz before (14 seasons – 1975-89).

During his time in Real, Laso has helped the team reach 2 EuroLeague titles (2015, 2018), 5 Spanish League Championships (2013, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019) and 5 Copa Del Rey titles (2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017).
