Fenerbahce Beko star guard Nando De Colo won’t travel to Russia for the EuroLeague Round 8 game against former team CSKA Moscow Friday (15/11) due to muscle spasms that have been bothering him since the match vs. Bayern Munich, the club announced.

De Colo spent the four previous seasons with CSKA Moscow before signing with Fenerbahce this offseason. The French guard was instrumental in the club winning the 2016 (earning Final Four MVP) and 2019 EuroLeague titles.

This will be the first EuroLeague game this season that De Colo will miss. He’s currently the top scorer and performer in EuroLeague with 20.9 points and 20.86 PIR respectively per game. He also averages 3.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists.

Fenerbahce is 2-5 after the bounce-back win over Bayern Munich while CSKA stands at 5-2 following the upset to ASVEL.
