Bayern adds Zan Mark Sisko

FC Bayern Munich inked Zan Mark Sisko to a contract up to the conclusion of the 2021-22 season, the German team announced on Saturday.

“I am very excited” noted the 22-year-old Slovenian point guard upon completing the deal, “This is a big step for me and my career. I understand that I still have a lot to learn. I will give everything to represent Bavaria in the best possible way.”

Sisko comes from last year’s championship team in Slovenia, Koper Primorska. Was leading ABA League with 9.9 assists per game up to his move to the German champions.

Aside creating for his teammates, the upcoming point guard had 8.1 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals per ABA League appearance with his previous side. He also averaged 11.1 points, 4.4 dimes and 2.4 rebounds per contest in the Slovenian league.

Born in Ljubljana on June 29, 1997, Sisko launched his career with Olimpija Ljubljana at the age of 15. Afterwards made his way to Croatia for Cibona for a two-year stint, represented Slovenia in the 2019 FIBA World Cup qualifiers as well.
