Euroleague and Eurocup 2015-16 teams

Euroleague announced the proposed list of club which will participate in next season’s Euroleague and Eurocup. As Eurohoops reported on Sunday, the Turkish champs Pinar Karsiyaka, Bayern Munich from Germany, Strasbourg from France, Lokomotiv Kuban from Russian and Dogus Darrusafaka from Turkey are the teams which got the five Euroleague wildcards, while Unicaja Malaga lost its A license, because no country can have from now on more than three A licenses.

A total of nine wildcards were given in Eurocup. Despite the initial wish of Euroleague, no UK team is included in the competition, while after many years Greece is represented with three teams and got two wildcards.
