Panathinaikos completed the 2015 Euroleague World Tour with an impressive victory against Guangdong Tigers (85-63), one week before the traditional Greek derby against Olympiacos for the Greek Cup.

After the middle of the first quarter, the Greens strengthened their offensive and defensive performance, took a double-digit lead and never looked back.

More specifically, in the first period, the Chinese squad managed to stay close in the first five minutes of the game, but Panathinaikos quickly made a 10-4 run to end the quarter in front by nine (22-13). Later on,  Guangdong cut the deficit to four points (24-20), with a 7-2 run, however the Greek team responded with an impressive 24-10 run to take an 18-point advantage at the end of the first half (48-30).

In the second half, nothing changed significantly, as Sasa Djordjevic’s squad continued to play decent both offensively and defensively and comfortably retained the lead to double digits (67-43 after 30 minutes in the game). In the final quarter, they further extended their advantage (78-52, 82-54) and easily won the game by 22 points (85-63).
