It’s not a secret that few teams in Europe break even in their bugdets and even less make a profit. Big clubs have made a habbit of losing money and in some cases winning makes things worst.

That’s the case in Real Madrid, as Marc Mundet reported. The duo of Barcelona and Real Madrid according to the official numbers published by the clubs lost almost 50 million euros last season (22 loss for Barcelona and 28 for Real Madrid) and eight of them are just the salary bonuses that Real Madrid had to pay after the team won every title.

In most cases a player contract in Europe include such bonuses, but the money spend by Real Madrid in this case are the total budget of a mid level European team.
