After the win of Galatasaray over Fenerbahce, coach Ergin Ataman attacked the Euroleague for not giving a wild card to Galatasaray this season.
As he said: “The Euroleague organization will be welcomed to see the atmosphere of our gym. They took in their competition the teams which are followed by 300-400 fans. We are going to win Eurocup and eventually we will participate in Euroleague. Then, I don’t see how they are going to prevent us from playing in Euroleague”.
Galatasaray played last season in Euroleague, but it was a year marked by the financial issues of the club and also by the death of Marko Ivkovic.
