D.J.Cooper has a deal with AEK

After playing against him twice in Eurocup, AEK has a deal with D.J.Cooper who is leaving Red October and Russia for Athens and Greece. Τhe negotiations between the two sides were long, but now the only thing missing is the paperwork.

Cooper who finished last season with Panathinaikos, is widely considered one of the best passers in Europe and many teams were interested on him. Still AEK managed to get him and only a last second turn of events may void the deal.

Cooper will be eligible to play in the Greek league, but he will have to wait for the Last32 phase in order to compete again in Eurocup.
