Playing without captain Alessandro Gentile, EA7 Emporio Armani Milano finally got a big win over Anadolu Efes (88-84) and can hope for a last second miracle and a Top16 ticket.

Jamel McLean with 26 points, Krunoslav Simon with 17 and Oliver Lafayette with 15 led the way to victory. Anadolu Efes trailed by one (82-81) with less than three minutes left, McLean scored, Lafayette blocked John Diebler, got fouled and with two free throws made the score 86-81. Efes didn’t give up, but, while trailing 87-83, Derrick Brown took the three-point shot, he missed 12 seconds before the final buzzer and the game was over.

Birkan Batuk with 17 points was the leading scorer of the guests, four more players scored in double digits, however the game was decided on big plays down the stretch and Milano was the team that made them. Efes dropped to the fourth place of Group B with a 3-4 record and EA7 Milano is tied with Limoges at 2-5. Simply put the last ticket for the Top16 is still up for grabs.
