Gustavo Ayon is MVP once more

Well we would not call it a surprise after seeing the 41 Ranking Points he gathered in Real Madrid’s road victory against Khimki Moscow.

Gustavo Ayon had what is probably a “career night” for him in Euroleague scoring 24 points, grabbing 13 rebounds and stealing the ball for an impressive number of 5 times, leading the reigning champs to a quite important win in Moscow. Real Madrid had lost the previous games against the Russians, during the Regular Season, but this time, they overpowered their opponents.

The responsibilities of the Mexican center were increased since, in light of Felipe Reyes’ injury, he was needed to stay on court more than ever and handle even more duties than before. He stayed on court 35 minutes, the longer he ever played for Real Madrid in a single game, and he surely managed to make the most of each and every second of his time on court.
