Panathinaikos wants to keep Feldeine

Panathinaikos is more than pleased with the performances of James Feldeine and according to Eurohoops’ information, the club has already started the necessary process to keep the player in the team for two more years!

The Greek team initially signed a deal with the player for 1 plus 1 season, with an extension option for the summer of 2016. But it is quite possible that it will not be needed to activate the option, since soon Panathinaikos will reward the player for his work with the team, by “binding” him in Athens for the two 2 upcoming seasons.

James Feldeine came almost … out of nowhere to Panathinaikos during the Summer transfer season. It was an addition that didn’t make such a buzz when it happened. But a signing becomes actually good when the player puts some serious game quality on court. And the 28 year old guard from the Dominican Republic has already made more than a good impression with his substantial performances.

In Euroleague, and at the top level of European basketball, James Feldeine scores 10 points, dishes 2.5 assists and grabs 2.5 rebounds per game, despite being a rookie.

He also takes the initiative quite often, as he has shown in the game between Panathinaikos and Unicaja Malaga, when he decided the outcome of the match with a game winning 3point shot.

Feldeine wants to stay in Panathinaikos, and the team wishes to extend their cooperation for the two upcoming years. The related procedure has already begun and the only thing that is left, is for the deal to become official.
