Some news that will definitely make Partizan fans happy. As the club officially announced, Novica Velickovic returns to the team for the first time after 2009!

The Serbian player signed a contract with the team for the remainder of the season. After he was released by Trabzonspor he returns to Partizan with which he had made headlines in Euroleague, and not only.

Novica Velickovic’s name is simply… bound with Partizan! During the 2008-2009 season the 29 year old power forward was named Euroleague Rising Star, after finishing with 11.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists. It was the year in which he also led Partizan to the ABA and Serbian double, being an MVP almost… everywhere: The ABA League Final Four, the Serbian League regular season, the Serbian League Finals and the Serbian Cup Finals.

“I am very pleased to be back in Belgrade. In the club from which I originated. The criteria for my choice were my desire to once again play in front of our fans and share my love for Partizan on court with them”, said the Novica Velickovic after signing his contract.
