Khimki Moscow officially announced that Dusko Ivanovic is going to replace Rimas Kurtinaitis at the helm of the team. The Montenegrin coach signed a contract for one year and a half.

The Russian team has been struggling to get win a game during the last month. Khimki Moscow has lost four out of its last five matches in Euroleague and has been defeated in four consecutive VTB League games.

Obviously, the club was not happy with these performances, especially when it comes to Euroleague, where Khimki is in danger of losing the train to the playoffs. So Khimki Moscow decided that a change should be in order with the departure of Rimas Kurtinaitis and the arrival of Dusko Ivanovic.

Ivanovic’s debut with his new team will take place at the crucial upcoming Euroleague Top 16 game against Brose Baskets in Bamberg.
