Krypto-Nate signed with Hapoel Tel Aviv!

Hapoel Tel Aviv made the biggest transfer move ever in the history of the Israeli league by signing Nate Robinson! Krypto-Nate will finish the season in Europe as it was officially announced!

Robinson last played for the New Orleans Pelicans of the NBA. Born in Seattle, Robinson played college basketball for the University of Washington in Seattle and was the 21st pick in the 2005 NBA draft. The 31 years old point guard has also played for the New York Knicks, Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Chicago Bulls, and Denver Nuggets. Robinson is the NBA’s first three-time slam dunk champion.

Hapoel Tel Aviv was for many years the main rival of local powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv, has won five championship titles and four Israeli cups. However the most recent championship title dates back to the 1968-69 season, as Maccabi Tel Aviv dominates the local competitions with a total of 51 championship titles and 43 cups. Currently Hapoel is the 9th team in the league standings with a 10-14 record.
