Parker and the Spurs turned it up, chasing history

By Eurohoops team/ info@eurohoops.net

With French star Tony Parker leading the way (18 p., 16 as.) the San Antonio Spurs beat the Blazers and have 34 home wins this season, the second best run in the NBA after the 37 home wins of the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls of the record 72 wins.

During the same season the Orlando Magic had 33 straight home wins and that’s the milestone the Spurs left behind. The total run of San Antonio since last season is 43 straight home wins and it will be tested next week against the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors currently have a 61-6 record and they are chasing the record 72 wins of the Bulls, while the Spurs are second in the West behind Golden State with a 58-10 record.
