Canada beat Croatia 91-80

In the first preparation game of Croatia in Novigrad before the upcoming pre-Olympics tournament, the result was not what you would expect.

Canada got the 91-80 in Croatia despite 24 points by Bojan Bogdanovic, 16 by Rok Stipcevic and Mario Hezonja adding 9 points and 6 rebounds. The two teams will face eachother again in three days.

Canada had a 48-45 lead with Philip Scrubb scoring 16 points in the first 20 minutes and finishing the game with 27 points and 7/8 threes. Khem Birtch, the new addition in the roster of the Greek champs Olympiacos who is expected to travel to Athens tomorrow, also played for Canada and had 12 points and 7 rebounds. Former no1 draft pick and now free agent Anthony Bennett had 21 points in 22 minutes.
