Barcelona stealing Randolph from Real, Doellman out

While Real Madrid has Antony Randolph in their next season plans, Barcelona is trying to get the player and according to Eurohoops sources so far the “Blaugrana” are outbidding the “Whites”.

In a strange turn of events, since Barcelona doesn’t have a coach yet, Randolph is at the moment the most probably replacement of Justin Doellman in the roster of the team, at least passport-wise. It’s still unclear if there will be more changes in the front line of Barcelona.

However, there’s not yet any deal with Randolph who is also waiting a possible offer from the NBA. Considering the money spend this summer at the other side of the Atlantic, every top Euroleague player is examining the option of returning to the States, like Randolph’s teammate in Lokomotiv Kuban, Malcolm Delaney did and already signed with the Atlanta Hawks.

The point so far for Barcelona is that Doellman is expected to leave the team, just like Carlos Arroyo. It also has to be noted that such a move by Barcelona may indicate that the club is also near the decision to hire a new coach.  The advanced negotiations of Barcelona with Randolph were first reported by SDNA.gr .
