Bayern Munich completed quite the transfer by signing American center Devin Booker, the MVP of the last season’s Pro A championship, with a one-year deal.
Booker averaged 15.1 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.9 blocks per game in 2015/2016 with Elan/Chalon, numbers which granted him season MVP honors in the French League.
“Bayern is a great club and Munich is obviously a beautiful city. Two factors crucial for my family and me. I’m ready”, said the 25-year old player in the team’s official website.
“Devin is a very athletic and powerful center. He will be a great asset for us both offensively and in defense. The fans will enjoy his spectacular game”, commented Bayern Munich GM Marko Pesic.
