Barca in advanced talks with Adams, Baskonia and Granger

With Claver coming and Abrines leaving, Barcelona has a lot of ground to cover and that’s why the club is trying to complete the deals with Darius Adams and Jayson Granger.

There are questions in the front line and not many open foreigners’ spots in the roster. That’s why Adams who has a Bulgarian passport and Granger who has homegrown player status in Spain are ideal solutions.

The “tanteo” deadline in Spain expired and in the case of Adams that means Baskonia has to get a buy out in order to let him go to an other Spanish team. The explosive scorer is waiting for the NBA, has a $3 m. offer for two years from China and also a 2+1 offer from Baskonia which can pay him in total 3,4 m. euros!

However, Barcelona is ready to cover the demands of Adams and the initial price asked from Baskonia for a buy out is one million euros. Barce is ready to pull the triger and get the player who proved last season that he can provide instant offense. Adams is vital for the Catalans and the same can be said for Granger, a well tested guard, who is ready to leave Anadolu Efes despite having a contract for one more year, if Barcelona is willing to pay his salary for next season.
