With seven players scoring in double-digit numbers and dishing 29 (!) assists, Spain made the preparation game against Ivory Coast look like a cakewalk, winning 100 – 61.
Coach Sergio Scariolo used a large rotation in the match using all of his players except Juan Carlos Navarro. Willy Hernangomez (14 points, 9 rebounds), Sergio Llull (15 points), Ricky Rubio (11 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds 4 steals) and Pau Gasol (10 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists) were the top performers for Spain.
Guy Edi (13 points) and Stephan Conate (11 points) were the top scorers for Ivory Coast.
