Arturas Milaknis’ upcoming return in Zalgiris Kaunas might herald some interesting changes in the teams’ ranks for the upcoming season. More specifically, it will mean that Martynas Pocius might bid farewell to the club.
According to 15min.lt, Zalgiris will look to release Pocius in order to not only open some space in its roster, but also its budget. Milaknis is expected to receive around the same salary that Pocious earned during the previous season (about 200 thousand euros per year). Since they also play at the same position, it seems that there is no place for both of them in the team.
At the same time Milaknis will sign his long term contract with the Lithuanian club, Zalgiris is expected to announced Pocious’ departure as well.
