Serbian coach Sasha Djordjevic explained how his team reacted after its bad start against USA.

As he said in the press conference after the game:”We had a tough start in the game. Why? For reasons I don’t know everyone except Milos (Teodosic) stood waiting for something to happen in the first five minutes”, said the head coach of Serbia.

How did he do stop his players’slumber? “I began to scream. It’s a… ‘technique’ I had to do in order to wake them up and make them play as they know. I am really proud of how we played in the other 35 minutes.”

“But still, we missed two minutes against Australia and five against the USA. So I hope we can improve and understand that we have to start to play forty minutes”, he added.

“This is a competition with the greatest players in the world. And we should stop thinking and go out there and play our game. Our guys know how to move the ball. We have a lot of talent. We have demonstrated that many times”
