The qualification to the quarterfinals was on the line, so Serbia was not in the mood for favors as they got a 94-60 win over China in order to advance.

The game was decided before the end of the first half, when a 9-0 at the start of the second quarter gave to the Europeans a 33-18 lead. Milos Teodosic played only 15 minutes, because Serbia didn’t need him much more than that.

Bogdan Bogdanovic scored 19 points and Nikola Kalinic added 15, along with 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Once more China in the post-Yao Ming era was not able to be a factor in a tournament which does not include only Asian teams.
