By Eurohoops team/ info@eurohoops.net

With a rich offensive contribution by nearly all players that coach Giannis Sfairopoulos used and some intense defense in the second half, Olympiacos downed Aris Thessaloniki 95 – 74 in a prep game that took place in Piraeus.

The two teams walked side by side for the first 20 minutes (44-43), but the Reds dominated the third quarter 29 – 12 to establish their hold in the match.

Matt Lojeski was the Olympiacos’ top scorer with 16 points (5/5 two-pointers, 2/4 from downtown) while Giorgos Printezis added 15 (with a perfect 5/5 shooting from the field). Erick Green dropped 13 and Kostas Papanikolaou with Khem Birch had 11 each.

For Aris, Devyn Marble (18 points), Will Cummings (13 points) and Eric Buckner (10) scored in double-digit numbers.
