The Madridistas keeping it Real, Italian job in Vitoria

While the games of the Oklahoma City Thunder vs Real Madrid and Barcelona were definitely at the center of attention this week in Spain, the Day 2 in Liga Endesa was of great interest as well thanks to some notable surprises, comebacks and impressive individual performances.

Arriving from a sound victory against an NBA team, Real Madrid managed to keep the same intensity in its output during the road match vs Valencia as well. With Sergio Llull blasting it once more, the “Whites” transformed what could have been a dangerous venture into a cakewalk, doubling their wins in the league.

It’s become 2/2 for Baskonia as well, albeit with a certain degree of difficulty. And that is because Murcia and Facu Campazzo provided their opponents with many unsolvable problems, until Andrea Bargnani decided to take action, holding the comeback flag high and steering his team to the victorious path.

An upset took place in Malaga where Zaragoza defeated local Unicaja by controlling the traffic inside the paint thanks to Stefan Jelovac and Isaac Fotu, along with taking full advantage of their opponents’ poor (4/26 three-pointers) perimeter shooting.

Andorra took their first positive result of the season by outplaying Supercup champions Gran Canaria in the second half and erasing a 14-point (43 – 57) deficit.
