Liga Endesa Week 4 MVP: Nemanja Nedovic

By Eurohoops team/ info@eurohoops.net

The almost 23 minutes that Nemanja Nedovic spent on court during the victory of Unicaja Malaga over Gran Canaria were more than enough for him to produce a brilliant output thanks to which he was named Week 4 MVP in the Spanish league.

Bucket making (23 points), creation (6 assists) or forcing his opponents to foul him (6 won)… you name it. The Serbian combo guard did everything for his team, finishing the match with a number of 29 in the evaluation index. Talk about making the most out of your playing time, right?

“I am very happy because this is the first time I am named MVP of the Week during the two and a half years I am in Spain,” said Nedovic. “I think all my teammates have helped me to receive this honor.”

“After two defeats by Real Madrid and Zaragoza we have improved a lot and we are playing at a level we want to be. The team is motivated to be improved and so am I as a part of it. That’s why I want to be MVP many more times,” he added.

Alas, an injury he sustained in the above match didn’t let him fully enjoy this achievement. Nedovic will be sidelined in the debut of Unicaja Malaga in Eurocup against Buducnost and is questionable for the next Liga Endesa clash vs Iberostar Tenerife.
