With Pau Ribas missing the season, Barcelona has been on the quest for a guard. As reported on escestando.es, the Blaugranas have showed interest in Alex Renfroe of Bayern Munich.
The 30-year-old player could be eligible for the Spanish club, as he has both an American and a Bosnian nationality. Also, Renfroe has no legal obstacles to play in the Euroleague, as Bayern competes in Eurocup. That being said, players who have already played in the Euroleague with a team this season must wait for the beginning of the second round to be able to sign with a new one.
According to Eurohoops sources, Barcelona hasn’t made an offer to the player or Bayern yet, but this may change, as the team wants to sign a guard as soon as possible.
