Lithuanian center Donatas Motiejunas has signed a four-year offer sheet with the Brooklyn Nets which the Houston Rockets must match until Monday at 11:59 p.m, if they want to keep him.

As ESPN reports, while the offer sheet potentially might worth as much as $37 million, only $5 million are completely guaranteed. This sum will rise to 17.5 if the player earns the contract option for the 2017-2018 season by March 1.

As Motiejunas said about the deal, also to ESPN, “I’m happy. It’s been way too long, I waited so long. I just wanted to play basketball.”

The 26-year-old big guy participated in 37 matches during the previous season with the Rockets, averaging 6.2 points and 2.9 rebounds in the regular season, plus 8.8 points and 5.2 rebounds in five playoff games. He has been on and off the team due to trade-deals gone bad with the Pistons while having to cope with back problems after a surgery to repair a herniated disk.
