Spanish star Serge Ibaka scored 29 points, Elfrid Payton reached career highs with 26 points and 14 assists and the Orlando Magic snapped a three-game losing streak with a 131-120 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night.
Orlando played without Montenegrin center Nikola Vucevic, while French starting guard Evan Fournier scored 23 points and had 6 assists and Croatian Damjan Rudez had 4 assists. German guard Dennis Schroder had 19 points and 13 assists for the Hawks and Swiss forward Thabo Sefolosha added 17 points and 5 rebounds.
In Phoenix, the Suns got the 113-111 overtime victory over the New York Knicks, despite the fact that Kristaps Porzingis scored 34 points for New York, one shy of his career high, before fouling out with 1:34 left in OT. Frenchman Joakim Noah had 8 points and 8 rebounds and Lithuanian Mindaugas Kuzminskas had 1 point.
