Boston Celtics’ stash Ante Zizic did not travel with Cibona Zagreb to the city of Bar for an upcoming game, according to reports. The player is said to be joining a new team, that being David Blatt’s Darussafaka in Turkey, as stated by the same reporter.

Not only that, but Aco Petrovic, brother of Drazen Petrovic and a memcer of Cibona’s board, said he is resigned from his position since the player is leaving, accoding to balkanbasket.com. And not surprisingly as the young center is considered Cibona’s best player.

The soontoturn 20 years old center has been developing in the Croatian team since 2014. He was selected with the 23rd overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics, though he decided to continue playing for Cibona for at least one more season a few weeks after being drafted by the Celtics.

Last season he was named ABA league’s Top Prospect, averaging 13.4 points and 8 rebounds per game.
