On a busy day of prep matches, most of them used for preparation for the FIBA World Cup, France closed out the show in a big win over Lithuania 90-72.

After a back-and-forth first quarter, France jumped out with a big scoring run in the second quarter that secured them a double-digit lead that they did not drop for the entire game.

Guerschon Yabusele led the way with 15 points for France.

Rudy Gobert had 14 points and six rebounds in just 17 minutes, while Nando De Colo added 13 points and eight assists, followed by Frank Ntilikina’s 11 points. Even Fournier on the contrary was rested, feeling discomfort in his ankle.

It was a clinic by France that made 30 field goals on 23 assists. “It’s good and we hope that we will keep this desire to pass the ball”, said coach Vincent Collet after the game.

For Lithuania which is missing a lot of key members for the upcoming tournament, Mindaugas Kuzminskas scored 18 points, Ignas Brazdeikis had 12 points, and Jonas Valanciunas scored nine points while grabbing four rebounds in 16 minutes.
