After playing 23 scoreless minutes in the 32nd Aegean Acropolis Tournament, Nemanja Nedovic bows out for the Serbia senior national team.

Nedovic, 32, deciding to skip the major international tournament was not related to an injury, as reported by Serbian outlet MeridianBet Sport.

Before the latest setback, Nikola Jokic, Nikola Kalinic, Vasilije Micic, Aleksej Pokusevski, and Vladimir Lucic were the most important players of the Serbia senior national team missing the World Cup.

Opening exhibition action in Athens, Serbia recorded a win against Greece Tuesday and a narrow loss to Italy Wednesday. Nedovic was 0/3 from the field to go with two assists against the tournament hosts and was 0/3 versus Italy.
