Walker Kessler welcomes the duels with Valanciunas and Vucevic

Manila, Philippines – So far Walker Kessler is averaging just 6,4 minutes and four points per game with Team USA in the FIBA World Cup.

However, that may change drastically in the second round, where the US will face the Lithuania of Jonas Valanciunas and Donatas Motiejunas, plus Montenegro of Nikola Vucevic.

The starting center of the Utah Jazz will be of use and he is eager for the challenge: “Obviously very good bigs, very skilled guys, we are going to prep, we are going to do what we do and just play hard”.

Meanwhile, Team USA after a 3-0 start in the tournament continues to build its chemistry and it’s expected to play even better.

As Kessler explained: “We play hard, we play the right way and we are having fun. We can get better, the more we play together our chemistry is going to grow. Obviously it’s already up, but it will continue to get better”.

Plus he gave his two cents about the recent Giannis Antetokounmpo rumors, answering a question to Greek media…
