Flynn and Biberovic lead Turkey’s WC Qualifiers squad

Turkey’s national team for the upcoming World Cup qualifiaction games has been announced.

Malachi Flynn, who recently received Turkish passport. and Tarık Biberovic are included in the list, while Shane Larkin is not in the squad.

Turkey will face Serbia in Group C on Friday, February 27th as guests, and will host Serbia at the “Turkcell Basketball Development Center” on Monday, March 2nd, in two very important games.

Turkish squad: Berk Ibrahim Ugurlu, Can Korkmaz, Cedi Osman, Ercan Osmani, Erkan Yılmaz, Furkan Haltali, Furkan Korkmaz, Ismail Cem Ulusoy, Malachi Flynn, Metecan Birsen, Onuralp Bitim, Omer Faruk Yurtseven, Sertac Sanli, Sehmus Hazer, Tarık Biberovic, Yigit Arslan, Yigit Onan, Yigitcan Saybir.

In the first two qualifying matches, Turkey made a significant step towards World Cup qualification, with victories over Bosnia and Herzegovina (93-71) and Switzerland (85-60). Now they face the toughest challenge in the group, and it should be noted that Serbia also won their first two qualifying games.
