Deck and Campazzo spark dominant victory as Argentina secures clinching win

Argentina secured a spot in the Second Round of the 2027 FIBA World Cup Americas Qualifiers after a convincing 101–75 victory over Panama on Monday night. Playing at Buenos Aires’ Estadio Obras Sanitarias to conclude Window 2, the hosts were led by Real Madrid stars Facundo Campazzo and Gabriel Deck, who both netted a game-high 25 points.

Joining them in the next stage from Group D is Uruguay, who improved to a perfect 4–0 record. The Celeste delivered a dominant 88–62 performance against Cuba at the Arena Roberto Duran in Panama City, fueled by a standout 25-point effort from Emiliano Serres.

In Group C, Brazil also maintained its undefeated streak and clinched its Second Round berth by routing Colombia 101–72. Competing at the UniBH Arena in Belo Horizonte, Caio Pacheco headlined the win with an impressive double-double of 17 points and 11 assists.

Meanwhile, Venezuela edged out Chile 72–68 in Valdivia.
